Our project analyzed the connections between zoom presence with the online boundaries set by individuals. We found that while having the camera on during synchronous meetings does remove some of the cons of online interactions by allowing participants to read non-verbal cues, it also draws on the boundaries of privacy. Therefore, it is necessary to establish methods of maintaining boundaries that wouldn’t hinder the interactions but would also protect and separate the personal and professional identities of the individual.
