Our project seeks to focus on whether human-caused noise pollution may have a negative effect on pigeons. In our experiment, we studied pigeon avoidance patterns in areas that featured a train station. We compared the number of birds, as well as the average amount of noise in the area, at each train station and the area 600 feet away. We believed that the incoming noise pollution caused by trains would cause pigeons to avoid the stations and that there would be more pigeons observed further away from the station.
