Fascinating!! This poster is like something you dream about as a kid to end world suffering and pollution. The hypothesis is revolutionizing. If we were to find a safe way to dispose of the world’s toxic materials we would all be in a much better place. I experience a really “the more you know moment”, when I read about how fungi are capable of disintegrating plastics on a molecular level.

This is such an interesting way to approach the plastic problem that our society is experiencing right now, especially during the pandemic times we live in since the masks are made of plastic. However, it might not be the most optimal way to approach it since techniques like recycling are explored and seem a lot cheaper due to the fact that we do not know whether the fungi dissolving of plastic will be more optimal compared to the existing practices we utilize at this moment to deal with this plastic problem so this idea needs research and investment. We agree that more research has to be made to see how to optimize this method of plastic recycling, as there are already methods of recycling which are implemented in society.
Overall, we found your poster very interesting and very nicely designed, with the data presented in a neat matter.
