This video was very insightful and opened my eyes to the fact that there are so many acknowledged musicians that I have never even heard of. I loved hearing about Goodman’s background and hearing his story. His music is so groovy and soothing as well!

I loved that Leah put his music in the background. This was super interesting! I didn’t know that there were any Jewish jazz musicians in the 1900s. Leah did a wonderful job describing Goodman’s rise to fame and history. I appreciated that Leah connected it to her own family. Great job!

This was so interesting for me to learn about! I love jazz but don’t know that much about the iconic musicians of this music genre. I have a background in band, but it is so interesting to hear the clarinet being played in a jazz band! It’s also very important to recognize how Benny supported integration of musicians playing together. Also loved hearing about your family! Super informational video Leah!

I honestly really enjoy jazz, so this was great to learn about. I also loved hearing about your family and your personal connections to the topic. This was so cool! I loved how informative your video was Leah, and how you were able to connect his background to your own! I also like that you chose a jazz player that plays the clarinet since the saxophone is the instrument most associated to jazz most times. Overall, very nice video!
