These three images are meant to represent my inner conflict with the development of age. Our perspectives of the world and life itself shifts as we mature and gain more life experiences. Each frame within my triptych shows myself at different stages in life: Youth, teenage years, and young adulthood. I, as well as billions of others, have been exposed to pleasant, traumatic, and meaningful events in our lives. Being able to navigate through them and maintain our humanity is a struggle that many struggle to persevere through. Aspects of mental health, trauma, confusion, and feelings of strandedness can be seen throughout my piece. I explore the conflict of maintaining and preserving humanity.
