Global warming is defined as the gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth’s atmosphere, exponentially sped up by industrial activity. Climate change is increasingly becoming an issue with serious global and local consequences: How might it impact different aspects of life in New York, with the city’s vast ocean-front land and famously dense development? We looked at data concerning sea level rise, infrastructure, and weather to examine how global warming impacts our city.
