In New York City, urbanization has been growing rapidly throughout decades of development. As more buildings tall enough to scrape the sky are planted into the ground, habitats and resources are taken away from New York City’s once-bustling community of animals. In our research project, we analyzed the relationship between urbanization and rock pigeons of NYC to reveal the dramatic effects of human action on the environment and specific data to back it up.
