When I was little, and I told people that I was a ballerina, they would lift their arms up and run around on their toes. They thought that ballet was just a delicate dance with pink, fluffy tutus and plastic tiaras. However, ballet is so much more than that. Ballet has evolved into a complex dance form where dancers can express themselves. In this video, I display the various stages of ballet through time. Each stage builds off of the previous ones, and together, they have enabled ballet to grow into the incredible art that it is today.

Ballet seems to be something close to Sara’s heart and therefore she presented it with much passion. I didn’t know all of this background information about ballet. She described the euphoria of dancing, specifically of ballet. Sara did a wonderful job describing ballet, its history, and its beauty.
