Over the course of the production of this project, I learned a lot about Chinatown and Brighton, but more about myself. For each piece of information that I learned about the history of the locations, I searched for that of my own. I discovered the reason that my community moved to Brooklyn, the reason members heavily occupy wholesale jobs, and the history behind unpopular landmarks in my own neighborhood. This project opened my eyes about how rich the quality of our lives are. I now take advantage of the great hidden treasures that are in my own backyard.
