Hi, my name is Ke Jiang. I live in the obscure part of East Brooklyn called Cypress Hills. I am planning to major in accounting at Baruch College. As an immigrant to this country, it has made this website and class that much more fulfilling for me. Throughout the past couple of months, this project opened my eyes to all the different ethnic neighborhoods thriving in this city. I learned about places like Brighton Beach that I never even knew about, and connected with the rich, vibrant history of Chinatown. I take great pride in living in New York City, and I hope through this website you can start to understand why.
