After a marathon reading session last night, I chose what I think are the five best proposals in the class. I am still waiting for all the authors to e-mail me with electronic copies, but here's the list of finalists:

Vivian Lo, Chinatown

Maria Kamenetskaya, Brighton Beach

Even if I didn't choose your proposal, you still received at least an A- (some of you received As). Each proposal showed thought and effort.

(By the way, if you guys choose Chinatown, I'll give a prize to both Vivian and Dan.)
