I’ve been living in Brooklyn for all of my life and am ashamed to say that my experience with Brighton Beach is minimal. My perception of the neighborhood through my few experiences is however, positive. I think of it as an urban beach, which in my mind had always been an oxymoron.  When I think of a beach I think of an urban escape, a rural paradise, not located in urban Brooklyn . I am eager to learn about something that I have been so close to for so long and know so little about.
